There are three house types designed by Innovative Planning and Design Consultants that buyers can select from. For buyers who chose to tweak the design, the architectural drawing is required to be presented to the Innovative Planning and Design Consultants for vetting and written approval prior to start of construction.

Buyers are urged to construct the houses with the ‘country home’ in mind, blending in with the surroundings as much as possible and using materials that are considered to be eco-friendly. This is in order to maintain the look and feel of the estate.

The plots fronting the road (1&2) will have a retail center to serve the residents. Plot 3 will be developed with the clubhouse which will have a swimming pool, a gym and a tennis court and plots 4 & 5 will be developed with low rise apartments. Plot numbers 7 to 38 will be developed with single dwelling low rise houses and plot 39 will be developed with a 4-star hotel.

ELECTRICITY

There will be mains power circulation on the estate. In addition to this, homeowners are encouraged to build their homes to be powered by renewable energy, for example power by either solar or wind (or both), There will be a standby/backup generator for common areas.

WATER

Mon Reve will supply water to homeowners from both a borehole and the Lake, but the share of this, as well as water piping to their home will be at the cost of the homeowner.

FENCING OF HOMES

The external perimeter wall is fenced with stone but we encourage home owners to have ‘organic’ fences only around their respective footprint, such as hedges, bamboo, picket-type etc.

DRIVEWAYS & CAR PARKS

Driveways and the communal car park areas will be constructed to cabro standards.

GARDENS AND TREES

We ENCOURAGE buyers to stick with indigenous flowering plants and shrubs as they are in keeping in with the Mon Reve’s philosophy of returning agricultural land to its natural state. Lawns should also be well maintained to keep up with the aesthetics of the estate.

Greenhouses are not permitted within the estate.
